RETURN TO THE TRIBE Philippines/1999/39min Producer/ Director: Howie G. Severino On-cam narrator Howie Severino accompanies young Filipino filmmaker Auraeus Solito as he journeys to his tribal homeland on a remote island. There he discovers that his tribal clan is being driven from their ancestral land and waters by two large companies - Rio Tuba Nickel Mines and Jewelmer Pearl Farm. Both of these companies export their products to Japan.
