| Summery This film can be said to be a sequel to Scavengers: Forgotten Children, which received the Social Environmental Film Award at the Fourth Tokyo Global Environmental Film Festival. It focuses on the Payatas dump, which is called the second Smoky Mountain. In the summer of 2000, a wall of garbage collapsed, and the camera crew, who happened to be there, caught the tragedy on film. The film also shows the residents of the dump strongly and proudly leading their lives despite the harsh environment. Producer: Kaneko Gaku Director: Shinomiya Hiroshi |
